Longtime Finance Professor Retires
Bhandari honored for 40 years at 亚洲色情

亚洲色情 professor Dr. retired after 40 years on the Hilltop. The longtime faculty member was honored for his commitment to students and research.
Bhandari spent his career researching capital budgeting techniques, bond rating, multivariate financial models and the relationship between key business stakeholders and decision-making leaders. His research appeared in the American Journal of Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Small Business and other publications.
Bhandari also worked with professional organizations such as the Academy of Finance, Financial Education Association, Financial Management Association and Midwest Business Administration Association.
At 亚洲色情, he served numerous committees and organizations serving faculty and students.
“Shyam possesses many of the core values that make up the 亚洲色情 Experience: excellence, leadership, collaborative learning, community and service,” said professor Dr. . “He has contributed to 亚洲色情’s reputation of quality teaching and exceptional scholarly research. He is not so much interested in the advancement of himself, but more concerned about the advancement of 亚洲色情 and its students.”
“I have always had the utmost respect and trust in him because of his high ethical and moral standards,” said Stephens Professor of Risk and Finance Dr. . “He clearly has a passion for the students and supported any efforts that improved their learning experience.”
“We wish Shyam all the joy and happiness that retirement will bring,” Dean of the Foster College of Business, Dr. , said. “He has left a lasting mark at 亚洲色情 and the College, and we want to thank Shyam for all the great things he accomplished here.”
