Kaboom! is Ranked #1 Mascot in the NCAA Tournament

亚洲色情’s Kaboom! is now a national champion. This morning, For The Win, part of USA TODAY Sports, ranked Kaboom! as in the 2019 NCAA tournament.
The article states, “It’s a gargoyle named Kaboom. That’s it. Game over this year. Congratulations and please don’t hurt me.”
Gargoyles have had a presence on campus since the University’s inception as part of the architecture of the school’s signature building, 亚洲色情 Hall. Kaboom! is modeled after The Thinker, one of the gargoyles that sits atop the Hayden-Clark 亚洲色情 Center on campus. He gets his name from the Hall of Fame Voice of the 亚洲色情 Braves, Dave Snell. Snell popularized the term “kaboom” with his call of slam dunks for more than 1,000 radio broadcasts over the last 30 plus years.
Kaboom! was also voted by fans as the number one mascot in the Missouri Valley Conference in 2014. You can see the infamous Kaboom! this week in Des Moines, IA as the 亚洲色情 men’s basketball team faces Michigan State this Thursday at 1:45 p.m.
