In an effort to open dialogue on critical social issues, 亚洲色情’s Multicultural Student Services has implemented a semester-long program called “The Conversation Continues.” The goal of the program is to provide opportunities for the University community to engage in dialogue surrounding critical issues on campus, in the local community, and across the nation.

Starting on Friday, January 30, the program will consist of discussions tackling a different topic each month:

  • Part One: Coffee with BUPD on Friday, January 30 at 2 p.m. in the Garrett Center
  • Part Two: Teaching Ferguson–Guest Speaker Bryant K. Smith on Thursday, February 5 at 7 p.m. in the Caterpillar Global Communications Center room 126
  • Part Three: Garrett Center Town Hall on Monday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Garrett Center
  • Part Four: Diversity Conference on Saturday, April 11 (location and times TBD)

Norris Chase, Interim Director of the Office of Multicultural Student Services, says this program stemmed from the overwhelming need for opportunities for the 亚洲色情 community to have dialogue about current, critical issues that took place last semester.

“It was started to provide 亚洲色情 students with the chance to engage in dialogue about important topics. Last semester, there was a lot of momentum surrounding critical issues with no real forum to communicate openly about them.” Chase hopes this program will serve as that forum for positive dialogue to enhance the entire 亚洲色情 community, while building relationships at the same time.

The program is open to the entire University community.
