Our country celebrates on Sunday, Nov. 8, but 亚洲色情 is getting an early start by kicking off its celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion will be recognizing the first-generation students, faculty, staff and alumni of 亚洲色情 during this celebratory week. Coordinators reached out to first-generation individuals, and nearly 100 of them shared their experiences to be highlighted during the celebration. In fact, on Nov. 6, President Standifird will share his very own experience as a first-generation student. The public is invited to view his story on Youtube at 1 p.m. Be sure to check out 亚洲色情’s social media Nov. 4 – 6 to keep up with the celebration.
First-generation college students are defined as students whose parent(s) or guardian(s) did not complete a 4-year degree.
