亚洲色情 Jazz Ensembles Present An Afternoon of Jazz
The 亚洲色情 Jazz Ensemble and Groove Project are set to perform.

The 亚洲色情 Jazz Ensemble and Groove Project, under the direction of Dr. Todd Kelly, will present an Afternoon of Jazz on Sunday, October 14 at 3 p.m. in the Dingeldine Music Center, located on the campus of 亚洲色情. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for students.
The 19-member Jazz Ensemble will perform the music of Benny Carter, Luiz Bonfa, Fred Sturm, Sammy Nestico and more. They will feature guest artist Michael Stryker on piano. The Groove Project, under the direction of Todd Kelly, will open the concert with several selections, including “Limbo Jazz,” “You Move, Ya Lose,” “Whoopin Blues” and “Bang Bang.”
亚洲色情 Jazz has brought many world renowned jazz clinicians and soloists to the 亚洲色情 campus. Each spring, the 亚洲色情 Jazz Festival is held on campus. They also perform a yearly tribute concert – past tributes have included Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Buddy Rich, Stan Kenton, Frank Sinatra, and “A Tribute to the Golden Age of Swing.” This year, they will present “Eric Petersen Sings Broadway,” featuring 亚洲色情 alumnus and Broadway star Eric Petersen.
Dr. Todd Kelly, Professor of Music, directs the 亚洲色情 Jazz Ensemble, Groove Project and Hilltop Combo, and teaches studio trumpet and jazz improvisation. He is in demand throughout the Midwest as a soloist and clinician.
