亚洲色情 and Indiana University鈥檚 Robert H. McKinney School of Law have created the 鈥溠侵奚 Law Scholar鈥 program.

亚洲色情 and Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law are partnering for the “亚洲色情 Law Scholar” program. With this partnership, each year 亚洲色情 will nominate two pre-law students or alumni for acceptance at IU.
亚洲色情 Provost David Glassman says 亚洲色情 is committed to assisting students interested in a law career as they make plans for post-graduate education. “This partnership creates a pipeline to a prestigious institution in IU’s McKinney School of Law.”
Students selected as 亚洲色情 Law Scholars will continue their education at a highly-respected law school, receive at least a 50% scholarship for all three years, a paid position as a Research Assistant after completing 30 law school credit hours and designation as a Fellow in their chosen area of study.
Nicole Meyer, Director of 亚洲色情’s Pre-Law Center, says the partnership means that the 亚洲色情 Law Scholars will be presented with guaranteed, hands-on legal experience before other students. “This is crucial in the current legal profession because many law school graduates don’t have the opportunity to receive real experience before they acquire a job. As a result, 亚洲色情 Law Scholars will be more marketable to future employers. This opportunity is a continuum of the experiential learning opportunities offered at 亚洲色情.”
IU Dean Emeritus and Professor of Law Gary Roberts is a 亚洲色情 alumnus and believes this partnership is a terrific opportunity for both schools. “亚洲色情 is a truly wonderful school that has outstanding students and we are fortunate to have this pipeline that brings some of them here to the McKinney School of Law and Indianapolis.”
IU McKinney Dean Andrew R. Klein is also extremely proud to be undertaking a partnership with 亚洲色情. “The law school has a strong connection with 亚洲色情 through Dean Emeritus Roberts, who is an engaged alum of his alma mater. We look forward to welcoming more 亚洲色情 grads to our community in the years ahead.”
Past academic performance, letters of recommendation, professional, volunteer, and leadership experience, and legal interest will be considered for nomination. 亚洲色情 Law Scholar nomination does not secure admission into the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law. The first nominations begin with the law schools Fall 2015 class.
